Co-ed Hostel Dorm Room, Delhi 24th May, 2024. 5:30 a.m.

Early morning sun rays are the most beautiful. They are warm and comforting. The sky looked clear like a decision firmly made. The birds chirping forming a beautiful melody sung the songs of their heart. The sun rays slightly entered the room through the sheer white window blinds.

The annoying rings of the alarm was disturbing the morning peacefulness. The entire room coloured white as the sign of happiness and peace. A young woman wrapped in white sheets was sleeping in the tiny bed. She looked like an angel wrapped in the sheets of heaven. So beautiful so heavenly. Sleeping peacefully. The continuous ringing of the alarm disturbed her sleep and BANG!!! The alarm fell on the floor and shut down.

"Arghhhhh I can't even sleep at peace," cursing she got up and went to the washroom.

Well what kind of reaction did you expect after waking up at 5 am. She was supposed to be anything but peaceful.

Getting ready, she came out and sat on her study table. The final exam. She knew she was gonna ace it. Delhi University is one of the most fun University but the exam months were hell above that the final exams of the last year. You wouldn't like to face them. The dark circles under their eyes were a living proof of this.

She continued studying till 7 am. She heard some calls from the adjoint bedroom and a smile tucked on her face.

" Radhika kinta padh rahi hai. Tereko dekh kar mujhe aur zyada tension ho rahi hai."(Radhika how much are you going to study. I am getting more and more stressed by seeing you)

The young lady turned her head. The young woman was non other than Radhika Raghuvanshi  and the other girl was her dear friend Ashika Chakraborty.

" Ja yaar ab ready ho ja uni ke liye," said Ashika. (Go and get ready for the uni now)

Ashika was Radhika's friend and roommate from the uni. They were really close and have remained friends from 5 years.

"Haan haan ja Rahi hoon. Tu bhi ja ready ho ja," said Radhika. (Ok ok I'm going. You also go and get ready)

They got ready and left their room.

Co-ed Hostel Lobby, Delhi. 9:00 a.m.

Reaching the lobby, they met two young men- " Vikram Kapoor" and "Aditya Malhotra." Their friends.

" Oh God finally yeh dono mohtarma aa gayi. Agar aur intazaar karwati toh mein toh Bhai chala hi jata," said Aditya. ( Oh God finally these two ladies have come. If you would have made us wait for one more minute, I would be gone.)

"Nautanki karna band kar, idiot. Aur chalo sab. Last exam hai aaj. Late nahin hona hai," said Vikram. ( Stop the drama, idiot. And let's go. Today is the last exam, we shouldn't be late)

All of them left the hostel and entered Vikram's car and they left for the college.

DU University, Delhi. 9:27 a.m.

Entering the college was always fun. Getting out their car, they entered the building. The students have filled both side of the corridor to have a look and the hottest men and women of the college. Many admired them. And others hated them with all their might. A tiny smirk was visible on Radhika's face.

"5 saal se hame ase tad rahe hain. Phir bhi thakte nahin hai yeh," said Ashika. (It's been 5 years and they have been ogling us in the same manner. Don't they get tired.)

"Pyaar hai inka," Radhika replied sarcastically. (It's their love)

"Pyaar chod mujhe toh jalan ki bo aa Rahi hai," said Aditya.(Leave love I am toh smelling jealousy)

"Well looks like our dearest friends wish to give us a visit," said Vikram sarcastically.

" Hey Radhika!" said Tanaya. "Aaj bhi jhund mein. Akele toh tum chal nahin sakti. Agar hamari choti rajkumari ko chot lag gayi toh." ( Today also you are with your group. Alone toh you can't walk. What if our tiny princess got hurt)

"Cut it out, Tanaya. We don't have time for your bullshit," said Radhika.

" How dare you say that?!!" said Tanaya.

"With the help of her mouth. Let's go guys. Iska toh yeh Roz ka drama hai," said Ashika. (This is her daily drama)

The group for four started walking away. Tanaya again went in front of them and addressed Vikram holding his bicep and flirticiously saying, "Vikky, see how they are taking to me!!"

"Shut up, Tanaya. Stop calling me Vikky. It's weird. And distance!!! Don't touch," said Vikram.

They left to their respective exam halls.

"Extra sheet!!" Radhika raised her hand asking for her third additional sheet. She could feel the eyes on her but she didn't care. She needed to ace the exams and she is going to do exactly that.

After the exam was over, the four met near Vikram's car.

"How was the exam guys?" asked Vikram.

"Hmmmm fine," said Radhika.

"I left one answer," said Ashika.

"I'll pass. What about you?" said Aditya.

"Yeah. It was good," said Vikram.

Radhika looked up at the sky. It was clear. The sun rays fell on her face. She felt calm and sky the blue. Not any blue. The shade that determines happiness, happy beginning and the fact that evrything is going to be alright. The sky was her first best friend and she knows all of its shade by heart. She smiled.

"What are you thinking Radhika?" said Aditya.

"About today's concert. It's going to be so fun," said Radhika.

"OMG!!! I totally forgot. Let's go and dress up. We are gonna drink the night away, said Ashika.

"Alright. Alright. Calm down ladies. You, Radhika, weren't you being grumpy yesterday for not getting enough sleep and now you are jumping for the concert," said Vikram with narrowed eyes.

"Take a chill pill and let the girls enjoy bro," said Aditya.

"Tu apana chill pill khud le le aur Pani ke saath nigal le. No one is drinking too much tonight. We also have a party tomorrow.," said Vikram. (You only take your chill pill and gulp it down with some water.

"As if you won't be drinking your butt out," said Radhika rolling her eyes.

"Alright let's leave rest for sometime and meet at the lobby for leaving for the concert," said Ashika.

As much as these four fought and made fun of each other, they were each other's support system throught there journey in DU. Radhika os like the box full of happiness. Once you open it's filled with so much laughter it will enlighten your entire world. At the same time, she is poised, mannerly and sassy. Being the youngest princess of Udaipur came with it own perks. Ashika iss the sunshine of their group. Her smile was so bright she could turn anyone blind. Aditya has the golden retriever energy and is a real big play boy and Vikram is a calm and patient boy and the sanity of their group. Aditya and Vikram are real gentlemen. They treated woman around them with alot of respect. This formed their tiny little group.

Co-ed Hostel Dorm Room, Delhi. 4:00 p.m.

Reaching their hostel room, Radhika received a call from her mother.

"Hello, mamma."

"Hi, mera bacha. Exams kese Gaye?". ( Hi, my baby. How were your exams?)

"They went great!! How is everyone there?

"Everyone is fine and missing you badly. Your brothers have gone insane. They are buying anything they lay eyes on saying Radhika will like this."

"I miss you guys too, mamma."

"When are you coming back? This time I won't let you go anywhere."

Laughing Radhika replied, "My results will be out in 5 days. Then I will be back home.

"Come soon, baby."

Radhika could feel her mother is going to cry.

"Alright your papa is calling me. I think he needs me. I will hang up now. Take some rest, bacha. Bye."

"You too, mamma. Bye."

Ending the calling, Radhika snuggled in her bed. She consumed her right away.

Radhika woke up to the feeling of something cold on her face.

"What the fuck?!!!!!!" said Radhika.

"Finally you are awake. Goodness how much are you sleeping," said Ashika.

" Bitch I will show you how much I'm sleeping," saying Radhika ran behind Ashika.

Laughter filled the entire room.

Getting tired, they sat on the couch.

"Now let's get ready. I'm just so excited," said Radhika.

Radhika and Ashika both got ready and went to lobby.

Co-ed Hostel Lobby, Delhi. 6:00 p.m.

"Can't you ever be on time," said Aditya.

"It takes time to look hot Mr. You won't understand," sassed Ashika.

"No one can fight you two," said Vikram shaking his head.

"Then, stop trying," Radhika retorted.

The concert went amazing. They drank and had fun. The danced and sung with the tunes of Sunidhi Chauhan, Diljit Dosanjh, Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghosal.

Co-ed Hostel, Dorm Room, Delhi 1:00 a.m.

All of them were drunk and currently lying in the girls room laid in their living room.

Next Morning Dorm Room. 25th May, 2024 10:00 a.m.

Vikram woke up feeling someone's head on his stomach. He saw how Radhika was sleeping without a worry of the world. He chuckled and heard some noises. Looking up, he found Ashika and Aditya fighting. Suddenly, a maddening headache started.

"Enough," shouted Vikram.

This shut both Ashika and Aditya. Looking down, he saw a startled Radhika. He smiled sheepishly and said, "Sorry."

"Oh my head," said Radhika "Can't you guys be quiet for a while. My head is going to burst."

"Say that to Ashika she just doesn't know how to shut up," said Aditya.

"Oh please stop lying. You are the one who started it," said Ashika.

"Shut it you two," said Vikram.

"Well it seems like you two are over your hangover then why don't you make two hangover drinks for us," said Radhika addressing to Ashika and Aditya.

"What? No even our head is paining," said Ashika.

" Well it didn't feel so when you two were fighting like mad cats," said Vikram.

Both Ashika and Aditya grudgingly left to make four hangover drinks for them.

The party that night was fun too. They had fun. Danced around. Well for Aditya he fucked around.  They drank and enjoyed themselves. The very same thing happened the next morning. They had a hangover and laying in the boy's dorm room with headaches.

Radhika was happy. A part of her ached that they all had to go their ways from here. But she felt content. One, she was going back home and two, these three monkey have become a very important part of her life and finally, she was going to meet her two besties. Life was not easy and it will be fine as long as she is surrounded by her loved ones. After two days, the results will be out. She was stressed but as Aditya says "All's well that ends well," and she knew she would never have a unhappy ending with these buffons surrounding her.
